This elegant headpiece is made from red fur felt  felt and is trimmed with felt and vintage appliqué.
 
The hat measures approximately 30”(76cms) around the circumference  and is approximately 11”(28cms) diameter. It measures approximately 23”(58 cms inside and fits the average women’s head size of 22.5” (57cms). The hat has been wired and stiffened so is very firm.   It is very comfortable to wear. 
 
Ideal for special autumn and winter occasions, weddings, lunches  and the races.
 
Similar versions can be made in other colours but the trimming will vary as the appliqué shown is a one- off.   It could be trimmed with your own pieces of fabric to match and outfit. Because all items are hand made, there may be slight variations in shape and size.

All of my pieces are hand-blocked or shaped, stiffened and, where appropriate, wired, using traditional millinery techniques. The highest quality materials are used, and each piece is hand-stitched with the greatest of care.
