This elegant headpiece is made from brown felt and is trimmed with handmade  silk flowers and felt.
 
The large headpiece has been made in two pieces. The front piece measures approximately 15” (88cms) across and 7”(18cms) deep. The back part covers the head for extra warmth and interest. It measures approximately 10” (25 cms) across and 7” (18cms) deep.  The front is trimmed with three silk roses one each in rust, beige and ivory with beige felt trim. The back has two silk roses and a rose bud and felt trim. 
 
The headpiece is attached to the head with elastic.  It can be worn on either side of the head.   It is very comfortable to wear. 
 
Ideal for special autumn and winter occasions, weddings, lunches  and the races.
 
Similar versions can be made in other colours.   Because all items are hand made, there may be slight variations in shape and size.

All of my pieces are hand-blocked or shaped, stiffened and, where appropriate, wired, using traditional millinery techniques. The highest quality materials are used, and each piece is hand-stitched with the greatest of care.
