This picture hat has a button base is made from black sinamay and is trimmed with a big circle of crinoline and a handmade burgundy silk camellia with white stamen.
 
The centre button measures approximately 5” (13cms) across.  The crinoline brim is about 7” (18cms) deep all round.  The headpiece is attached to the head with elastic.
 
Ideal for special occasions, weddings, the races, garden parties. 
 
Similar versions can be made in other colours.   Because all items are hand made, there may be slight variations in shape and size.

All of my pieces are hand-blocked or shaped, stiffened and, where appropriate, wired, using traditional millinery techniques. The highest quality materials are used, and each piece is hand-stitched with the greatest of care.
